M Sarki

Besides being a poet with four collections published, M Sarki is a painter, film maker, and photographer. He likes fine coffee and long walks. 

M Sarki has written, directed, and produced six short films titled Gnoman's Bois de Rose, Biscuits and Striola , The Tools of Migrant Hunters, My Father's Kitchen, GL, and Cropped Out 2010. More details to follow. Also the author of the feature film screenplay, Alphonso Bow.

Incidents of Egotourism in the Temporary World - Lee Klein I have read some very good books already in the year of 2012. I have been introduced to fantastic writers I cannot say enough good things about. Jenny Erpenbeck is the best. The biographies of Paul Hendrickson are second to none. Robert Walser, when translated by Susan Bernofsky, also cannot be beaten. But for my money the most fun I've had in a very long time, certainly at least in 2012, goes to Lee Klein with this "book" of his that refuses to be pigeon-holed into any genre. I have reviewed it here below for those of you interested in finding out why I think so highly of this newly-discovered writer for me, and why we could be friends:
